Installation Guide

First time installing? Follow the steps for your platform.

macOS Installation

  1. 1 Download and open the .dmg file
  2. 2 Drag HoiR to the Applications folder
  3. 3 Open HoiR from Applications
Security Notice

macOS may display: "HoiR can't be opened because Apple cannot check it for malicious software."

→ System Settings → Privacy & Security → Click "Open Anyway"

Windows Installation

  1. 1 Download and run the .exe installer
  2. 2 Follow the installation wizard
  3. 3 Launch HoiR from the Start menu or desktop
Security Notice

Windows SmartScreen may display: "Windows protected your PC"

→ Click "More info" → Click "Run anyway"

These warnings appear because the app is not code-signed. HoiR is open source and safe to use.
